Swimming

Reserved Swims

The pool may be reserved for the exclusive use of groups from 10am to noon, or from 10pm to midnight. You pay full, per-person rates for the reserved swim, less any discounts for number of people (25 or more - 10% discount; 50 or more - 20% discount, if one person collects and pays for group). There is a $100 minimum. NO PASSES, PLEASE! The swimming included with camping is during our regular hours (Noon to 10pm) only.

Camping

*All camping rates are based on 2 people; any additional people in unit are $7 each

Fees for camping/cabins/trailers include TAX, SHOWERS, and SWIMMING (One calendar day of swimming with each night of camping. Extra day of swimming is half price.) Bring own dishes, cooking and eating utensils, and firewood.

Additional Accomodations

• Picnic Shelter: Reservation required. (Fee).


• Park Areas: With tables and burn puts. There is a $3 per day/per person park use-fee for anyone using park that is not paying to camp or swim, (reduced to $2.50 per person if one person collects and pays for the group,) or $50 flat fee for under 30 people, whichever is less. There is a sliding scale for more than 30 people. (Check with Nadine.) The park-use fee is waived for each day your group's camping fees total more than $100.


• Showers (in poolhouse), and Restrooms (indoor and outdoor)


• Snack Bar: To satisfy the "munchies" - Chips, Pop, Candy, Ice Cream, etc.

Additional Information

• Pets: No dogs allowed on the premises!


• Registration: Please have someone from your group register and collect camping, swimming, and park use fees from your people. For this we give you a 10% discount off camping and swimming; 50 cents off park use fees. (See "Park Areas" above.)


• Pool Use: Children must be accompanied in the water by an adult (age 18 or older) at all times!!!
  (Maximum three children to one adult)


• Swim-wear: For health and maintenance reasons, swimsuits are the required attire. No shirts or streetwear of any kind allowed in the pool, including swim shirts and tank tops. (Nylon or lycra sport shorts may be worn over women's swimsuits.) Suits and towels available for rent (Suits - $2; towels - .50.)
  LITTLE SWIMMER diapers (or comparable brand designed for swimming) are required for ALL children under age three. NO EXCEPTIONS! (We have individual ones available for purchase.) Additional plastic pants are encouraged to preserve the sanitation of pool water.


• Reserved Swims: Check with Nadine for more information.


• Deposit or Credit/Debit Card Number: is required to hold RV spots, Housing units, Reserved Swims, Picnic Shelter and Reserved Park Areas. First night's fee charged on housing reservations cancelled less than one week before event. Holiday reservations are non-refundable. (We don't run cards until you arrive, or unless/until you don't show.)


• Motor Bikes, Radios, CD Players, Etc: Not allowed. These don't contribute to the peace and quiet for which many come to Givens. Only personal music devices with ear buds/head phones allowed. (Must not be audible to anyone else.)


• Quiet Time: 11pm-8am. Please be considerate of others by observing these hours.


• Picnic Tables: Available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, if you require more than two or three tables for your group, and it's a busy time at the Springs, we encourage you to bring additional tables from home to be fair to the other campers.


• Fire Pits: Are available for campers on a first-come or share basis, but you need to bring your own firewood and grills.


• Hot Water: We recommend filling RV tanks with cold water at home. That, mixed with our hot, is great for washing dishes, showering, etc. (Use turned off water heater for cooling tank.)
