When Milford and Mattie Givens homesteaded the Springs in 1881, they recognized the therapeutic potential of the water, as well as its practical and recreational possibilities. Now, 130 years later, families and friends - many of them descendents of early residents of the area - still gather at Givens for reunions, parties, swim lessons, and yes, therapy - for both body and spirit.
Come out and experience the soothing hot mineral water and peaceful, rural setting that draws neighbors - as well as hot-spring seekers from literally all over the world - to this intriguing Old-West-reminiscent corner of Idaho.
